The Internet is abuzz with reports that one of Colombia's most famous fashion models, Lina Marulanda has committed suicide Thursday, April 22, 2010.

According to a Colombian newspaper account, police reports confirm that Lina Marulanda jumped out of the window of her Bogota, Colombia apartment. According to reports the model, who also works
as a television presenter, had recently separated from her second husband, businessman, Carlos Onate. Several accounts say that Marulanda was going through a difficult time and some say that the model was taking antidepressants.
