Sandra Bullock has been photographed without her wedding ring, feeding a celebrity sighting/news frenzy about her future as Mrs. Jesse James. Although divorce proceedings seem to be in
the works, seeing Sandra Bullock without her wedding ring may be the clearest indication that the Oscar-winning actress is ready to move on. That, and allowing the paparazzi to photograph her in the first place.

Entertainment Tonight has obtained several photos of Sandra Bullock hiking in northern California. She is reportedly sans make-up in these pictures, but if that is true, the wedding ring-less Bullock certainly doesn't seem to need all that much enhancement. She is seen sipping coffee and even smiling in one of the photos. And she is most definitely without her wedding ring.

According to Huffington Post, Entertainment Tonight paid $60,000 for the exclusive photos. It is often asked whether such exorbitant fees paid to paparazzi are worth it for something that seems as mundane as photos of wives without their wedding rings, but interest drives demand and without said interest and demand, there would be no market for such photos, exclusive or not. The mere fact that Entertainment Tonight would shell out $60,000 for these photos is proof that such an interest and a demand exists.
Of course, the photos are also some of the first photos of Sandra Bullock actually getting out and away from her home(s), where she has been secluded since the Jesse James mistress scandal began. Since Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee went public with her affair with Jesse James in In Touch Weekly, Bullock has kept a very low profile. In the vacuum created by missed appearances and no statements to the press, the media has filled in the blanks with rumor, speculation, and background material on any and all allegedly involved, which has come to include at least half a dozen alleged mistresses.

Sandra Bullock has been photographed outside her home before, once when she went to visit a friend. However, photos of that outing were occluded by umbrellas and a large, floppy sun hat. But the new photos are the first to show her openly since the scandal began.
